Located at the intersection of Lexington Avenue and East 55th Street, 660 Lexington Avenue is one of the newest luxury residential projects in Midtown East. Developed by Rybak Development, with architectural design by Italian firm S20M and interior design by New York-based Paris Forino, the project draws inspiration from classic New York architecture, blending limestone facades and Art Deco elements with modern residential design to create a private living experience for only 31 residences in the heart of Manhattan's most established urban area .
Unlike ultra-high-rise luxury residences that prioritize height and scale, 660 Lexington emphasizes the spaciousness and privacy of its boutique homes. The building is approximately 20 stories high, offering residences ranging from one to four bedrooms, and includes multiple penthouses; approximately 5,000 square feet of ancillary space further enhances the living experience. Sales officially commenced in 2026, with one-bedroom units currently starting at approximately $1.65 million.

The surrounding neighborhoods of 660 Leington Avenue
The project connects to Madison Avenue and Fifth Avenue to the west, Central Park to the north, and Grand Central Terminal to the south. Within walking distance, it gathers office, luxury retail, hotel, dining and cultural resources, making it one of the most mature and international core areas in Manhattan.
The value of this location stems primarily from its irreplaceable mature urban resources. Along Fifth Avenue and Madison Avenue are global luxury brands such as Hermès, Gucci, Fendi, Tiffany & Co., Harry Winston, Van Cleef & Arpels, and Saks Fifth Avenue; meanwhile, iconic New York destinations like Central Park, the Museum of Modern Art, and Rockefeller Center are all located nearby, creating a highly concentrated living area encompassing residences, commerce, art, and high-end consumption.

Its transportation is particularly outstanding. It's approximately 0.11 miles from Lexington Av–53 St subway station, connecting to the E, M, and 6 lines ; and about 0.19 miles from Lexington Av/59 St , connecting to the N, R, W, 4, 5, and 6 lines; other nearby stations include Fifth Avenue–53rd Street. To the south, it offers quick access to the Grand Central Terminal, further connecting to Metro-North and multiple subway lines.

04 Architectural Design

The most recognizable element of 660 Lexington is the curved limestone facade designed by S20M . The building draws inspiration from the Art Deco architectural tradition in the Midlands, but does not simply replicate historical styles. Instead, it uses soft curves, vertical proportions, and modern details to give classic New York stone architecture a lighter and more contemporary expression.
The building's top is further enhanced with a metallic copper mesh that wraps around the crown, roof terrace, and 11-story Loggia, creating a material contrast with the warm, natural stone. From the street to the building's roof, the overall design responds to the historic buildings surrounding the midfield while establishing a uniquely modern identity for 660 Lexington.
05 Entrance Space

Upon entering the building, Paris Forino continues the modern classic language of the facade into the interior. The lobby features custom terrazzo flooring and a distinctive Emerald Green Quartz concierge desk , complemented by specially designed furniture by Paris Forino. The project also offers 24-hour doorman and concierge services .
Instead of creating a luxurious feel through overly ornate decorations, this place establishes a quieter and more sophisticated homecoming experience through stone textures, furniture proportions, colors, and details, consistent with the building's overall concept of "modern interpretation of classic."
06 Residences

The residence at 660 Lexington continues Paris Forino's warm and restrained design language, using soft neutral tones, natural wood, stone, and delicate custom details to construct the interior space. The building's approximately 11-foot ceiling height, combined with large windows, brings a more spacious proportion and natural light to the residence.
The interior design particularly emphasizes the details of a classic New York home. Herringbone oak flooring adds texture and warmth to the space, while arched elements and layered spatial relationships preserve the elegance of a traditional home within a modern open-plan layout.

The kitchen continues the warm and modern design tone of the residence, integrating natural materials, custom cabinetry, and high-quality appliances into the open-plan living space. The project features a Miele high-end kitchen appliance set , catering to both everyday cooking and family social needs.
Some high-rise and penthouse residences further integrate large-scale kitchens with living and dining areas to form a continuous public space, making the kitchen not only functional but also an important space for family life and entertaining guests.

The bathroom space centers on a tranquil and refined private spa atmosphere, continuing Paris Forino's interior design language through natural stone, soft colors, and clean lines. Isenberg bathroom hardware was selected, and the project enhances the daily user experience through delicate materials and customized details.
The overall design eschews excessive ornamentation, instead emphasizing the texture of the materials and the proportions of the space, making the master bathroom a truly private area for relaxation and rejuvenation within the bedroom suite.
